Career
Ms Julie Low-Thion is an experienced finance professional with over 10 years of expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and organizational development. Currently serving as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer at the Public Utilities Corporation (PUC), Ms Low-Thion has a strong history of leading financial initiatives, improving operational effectiveness, and ensuring adherence to global financial regulations.
Experience
With a solid background in leadership, risk management, and corporate governance, Ms. Low-Thion has played a pivotal role in financial decision-making, budgeting, forecasting, and capital management across various positions. Her expertise will be instrumental in supporting the growth of DBS, particularly in making strategic decisions related to finances, risk management, and other critical aspects of the bank’s operations.
Qualifications
Ms Low-Thion holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance and is currently a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She has an MBA from the University of Essex, and has also completed the CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership. Ms Low-Thion’s diverse qualifications and hands-on experience in both private and public sectors make them a valuable asset to the Board of the Development Bank of Seychelles.
