Ms. Jean Preira

Ms. Jean Preira is one of the longest-serving members of the Bank.   Her dedication, passion, and positive attitude toward her job led her to serve DBS for 27 years.  She began her career as a Loan Officer with DBS, before transitioning to Finance department and eventually becoming CEO of that DBS in 2021Those who know her can attest to her willingness to assist others, share her experience, be unafraid of challenges, and always ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and deadlines.

Ms. Preira has extensive experience in development banking, with expertise in project appraisal, financial statement preparation, financial analysis, and leading a team.

She holds an MSC in Financial Services Management which covered the following topics; Risk, Compliance, and Regulation, Accounting and Finance, Marketing and Service Management, and International Financial Management.  She holds a professional qualification and membership in ACCA.  In addition, she has o levels and A levels, and several short-term course certificates in leadership and management, accounting, sustainable finance, green finance, project management, and other areas.
