The Development Bank of Seychelles (DBS) wishes to inform tits customers and the general public that, as part of the government’s digitalisation program, DBS will no longer be accepting cheques as a mode of payment according to the following schedule:
Personal Cheques: Effective May 2025
Business Cheques: Effective May 2026
Customers are advised to utilise alternative payment methods for their loan repayments, such as VISA cards and mobile and internet banking platforms. Additionally, starting January 2026, DBS will no longer issue cheques for loan disbursements.
All payments will be disbursed through available payment platforms with the commercial banks.
