The Development Bank of Seychelles celebrated its 45 years of service to the people of Seychelles in February 2023
Several activities have been organized to honour this milestone since February 2023, the most recent of which was a family sports day held on Saturday, September 16th, 2023 at the Beach Soccer Arena. The major goal of the event was to bring employees and their families together for enjoyment while also promoting the value of physical activity.
Despite the wet weather, the participation in the event was more than expected, with everyone eager to compete and have a good time. The Arena was crowded with fans cheering for their co-workers and families.
The event began with a 30-minute warm-up, and then adult players were divided into three groups to compete in beach volleyball, beach soccer, obstacle races, and other lighter games.
The youngsters had the opportunity to enjoy themselves in the baby gym and other activities such as face painting and henna tattoos that were organized for them. They, too, competed in a variety of field events, including relays, obstacle races, and egg and spoon races.
