Ms. Rana Fernandes

Rana Fernandes is the Head of Credit Control of the Development Bank of Seychelles and has held the position since 2013.  She started her career in Commercial banking as an Account Executive support at MCB in 2006 until 2010 when she was promoted to Account Executive until 2013.  She later decided to specialise in development financing only. Her career and passion have always revolved around entrepreneurial business development, and she has an appetite for both self and professionaldevelopment.

Her existing experience in customer service, strong interpersonal skills, and leadership abilities have helped her effectively in her role as the Head of Credit Control. She is highly skilled in loan appraisals and disbursement as well as monitoring of projects,  her expertise in this field has contributed significantly to ensuring that the Bank achieves its overall objectives.

She holds a BSc in Business Studies and Management from the University of Bradford UK.
